One more cheesy episode like the one that just aired, and I won’t be watching this anymore. This show has ZERO potential for a soap opera, so they should probably stop trying. Absolute crap tonight. A truely senseless episode that tarnished an otherwise great idea and great stargate followup. Seriously, i hope this last episode wasn’t a glimpse of the direction this show is heading in.
I had really high acceptations to SGU, but it seems that Stargate producers just have lost their touch! I wish people just learned how to enjoy the success and at the same time take care of their fans. Can somebody tell me whats up with the cameras on SGU! Why do they have to copy Galactica when it comes to camera movement and screen focus. That is just horrible! Why can’t they follow the same way Atlantis was recorded and mastered?

Honestly, The show has me interested, i was never a stargate fan but being a sci-fi junkie i liked the idea. The writers need to understand that too much soap-opera stuff can be a turn off unless it includes some sex appeal, otherwise its General hospital on the other side of the universe, and you’ll be jumping the shark before u can say FTL. Let the ship reveal its secrets gradually and Id like to see this ship come back to life and give the SGU team some superiority in future episodes against intergalactic foes and reveal how truly advanced the ancients were! Wow the SH__ out of us and let us walk away from the show inspired, not depressed.
This really need to get better fast. The epesodes are not too bad but they just need to get better.

WTF????? Are the writers for SGU smoking Meth? I had high hopes for this show. So far though, every single episode has been a let down.
I realize that trying to follow up a Ten season hit like SG is tough, but come on, at least have the heart to try and make a go of it. I’m going finish this season to see if they (the writers) got off their collective asses. After that, if it doesn’t improve, I’m done.
I have to agree with Ali. If you compare the original Battlestar Galactica to the remake (Adventure vs Drama), then the same has happened to SGU. I fell asleep during S2 ep4 tonight.
it’s like watching a soap opera… that, oh yes it’s in space. It’s like I’m being fooled to watch this. See how much of this I can tolerate. oh looks like it’s going to be exiting next week !! .. i was wrong again… it’s-o-o-o-o-o boring and disappointing. I agree it is looking like battle star galactica and I’m not referring to the things i actually like about that show. I’m tiered of seeing dysfunctional people. all that incessant bickering . “we need a leader to voice for the civilians among us ” give me a break!!!!
i’ll just play my farmville from now on. I have more alien cows than that show has aliens…

This is a fantastic show, I watched every episode on its air date. My only complaint is that its over, and how they ended it. I want more….
I think this last season was the best. I do not want this show to end. Everytime a show about space comes along, I get hooked and then its gone. The crew, [actors] are just getting to know each other, and are now flowing well together. Now is not the time to take this show off the air. Please, someone, bring it back. Give it a chance.
